About The Girl

Meet ChantelleJoy, the iPhone App Girl.

Me, and my first iPod (2005)

With a resounding passion for all things geeky, specifically gadgets and the webs, I started this site in Spring 2009 to follow-up my blogging for 2 years on other iPhone related sites. However, the entire site, including all content was relaunched in 2010 with a fresh perspective and new design.

With over Five Billion Apps downloaded, there’s certainly something to this mobile application device shtick. I intend to wade through this sea of software and provide you with my humble opinion on the subject. I am interested in all aspects of iOS, and eagerly awaiting iOS4 – if you really want to know why I’m writing this blog, see my Mission Statement. For more info about me, and other projects I’m working on, visit my personal site, or catch up with me on Twitter.

I’m not an Apple Fangirl. I’m an iOS Fangirl.
I hope you enjoy this entirely unnecessary blog about all things iOS related.

In my attempt to upgrade to 3.1.3 I did just that – completly FUBAR’d it. Luckily after 4+hrs of strugging with “Emergency Calls Only” mode I did a custom 3.1.2 install (thank you Blackra1n!!!), jailbroke with aforementioned Blackra1n, and it was smooth sailing from there. Actually, the phone didn’t even need to be Unlocked again. So in the end…
