Content Filler: iPad Wallpapers (Set 1)
On Thursday I bought an iPad. On Friday I went away on a very brief, very unexciting, very calm mini-vacation to the country to visit a friend and her family. This enabled me not to obsess over the thing after first getting it, and upon returning home I promptly resumed my regularly scheduled Obsessing.
I think we can all agree on the importance of a good wallpaper/background. I just happened to have selected The Most Perfect Image Ever to throw on as my Home Screen background, as I already had it from previously using it as my iPhone Wallpaper. (Side note: My Lock-Screen Wallpaper isn’t bad either). Because it’s so magnificent, in I doubt I’ll ever replace it for long, but I was hoping to add a few other backgrounds to my library. Sadly, found that most I don’t like the way the 1024×768 sized options rotate/scale. So I’ve taken it upon myself to start making my own.
At 1024×1024 these will rotate/scale very nicely. My first set are of the Food Celebrities that I adore.
iPhone App Girl iPad Wallpapers – Set 1
It’s worth noting here that of the above gentlemen only one has the distinction of being affiliated with one of this year’s WWDC Design Award Winning Apps – Jamie Oliver.
Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals picked up adoration for being awesome at “attention to detail and high production value”, I didn’t know that it offered audio coaching within each recipe, which is kind of adorable, if it’s Jamie doing the coaching. I know it’s not even been around that long, but I’m seriously considering getting it – if so, I’ll blog all about it.
The only other App that I’d be even mildly interested in is Brushes. I’ve seen some really fantastic pieces of art created by using that App, and if I had any artistic skill or ability I’d hop on it – so if you do, you should.
