Popper Game App Review. One of the Best.
Rating: 4.5/5. Near Perfect!
Cost: $1.99

If you’re looking for a high-quality, addictive, challenging App Game that’s similar to Luxor, Zuma and the previously reviewed Amoebas – look no further. I’ve found one of my new Favorite Apps, Popper. (And I’m not just saying that because the App Designer happens to also be a girl, haha!)
Popper is one of those Apps that stands out above the rest because of it’s fantastic high-quality graphics, challenging (but not impossible) game play, and fantastic use of the iPhone / iPod Touch platform, this game is obviously designed specifically for the App Store, and is familiar while also being unique.
At it’s heart it’s a basic shoot-and-match game, but each level poses different styles of play, and interactivity with the accelerometer. Sometimes you’re controlling the pills you need to hit, sometimes your aiming your pill. Each level is like different game, each one could have been easily made into a 10-20 level game itself, but here it just works to keep your interest and increases in difficultly at a great pace. If you’re still confused about how to play – check out the Popper Video on aCleverTwist’s website.
One of the few $1.99 games that earns the price, completely. Lucky for you they’ve made a Lite Version available (iTunes Link: Download). The only improvements that could be made to this App are the inclusion of a online Leader Board, and quite simply more levels. Hopefully future updates will include these. When the only decent criticism I have is that I want more of the game, you know that this is making my ‘Best Apps’ category. Highly recommended!

Chantelle thanks so much for the review - you ROCK!!
Nice review! Makes me want to play!
Where is Little Cook</A? That is my kids favorite iPhone/iPod Touch game and it’s not on the list!! I have bought more than a couple of the games on this list but my little girl keeps going back to Little Cook. I would love to see it get a place on your next roundup because unlike some of the games on this list, she is actually learning applicable knowledge from LC. Anyway, thanks for this list, I will be grabbing a couple of these apps for sure!
